Are you having issues with AE and other Adobe products crashing the NVIDIA driver when using an external monitor?
Everyone is baffled over this crash. For weeks I've been working with senior techs at HP, Adobe, and NVIDIA and no one is able to resolve. I am using a brand new laptop (very fast):
HP ZBook Fury 17 G7 Workstation
Device name DESKTOP-NPTK6OQ
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10850H CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.71 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 21H1
Installed on 11/9/2021
OS build 19043.1348
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0
NVIDIA Quadro RTX3000 video card version 472.47
I haven't been able to use After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere for several weeks.

Hi JoeDaniels,
Sorry for your issue.
By looking at the screenshots, my first suggestion would be to update the GPU driver. If it's updated already then go for a clean installation of the driver. If that doesn't help, changing the Power management mode to Prefer maximum performance in the Nvidia Control panel could help: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3130/~/setting-power-management-mode-from-adapti...
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Nishu
