Ae Beta 24.1 File animates correctly in Composition but doesn't render properly - DUE TODAY!!! AHHHH

I'm building a file, test rendered and found an OTS graphic is not looking right in the render, Text isn't centered between the two lines and it's not keying inside the layer I'm using as a matte for the text reveal.

I checked the file Setup.1 and .2 and everything looks correct. I double check the setup, do a RAM preview and everything checks out correctly. I re-render the file and when it gets to this section, again I see this problem. I stop the render, recheck everything is fine.

This is a time consuming render as I'm using the Roto Brushto create a DOF effect and it's due NOW!

I've purged all the Cache files so it shouldn't be grabbing cached frames and I don't understand what's causing this. Not a newbie to Ae. Never seen this - could be a bug (this is the Beta 24.1 App). Still I switched to the beta version because this was happening in the Ae CC2024 version as well.

Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks.

When you upload images instead of embedding them by adding them to the Reply field, it's hard to see the problem.

If the problem is in the background plate, I do not see much of a difference. I also do not see the problem layer's modified properties. The only real problem I see is that the hair on the actor is also blurred, which is a common problem with Rotobrush and fine hair detail.

Rick,

Thanks for the quick response. First (and most importantly) doing a cold restart seemed to solve the problem. I'm all set.

As for the screen grabs, if it were something in the file setup I needed attention to, I would have placed larger shots of the area in question. In broadcast OTS means Over The Shoulder, which is where the problem was so I felt the images were fine for viewing that area. I know how to setup a matte so I wasn't confused about the mask feature at all.

The problem was the matte (mask) revealing the text, although set up properly and double checked stepping through frame by frame, was correct inside Ae but wasn't rendering properly. The text reveal wasn't matching the lines (above and below) revealing the text because something funky was going on with the animated mask.

Additionally, the text, once revealed, wasn't centered vertically in between the two lines - but was in Ae before rendering.

So image 1:

Shows the mask, lines and text (in the OTS graphic) inside Ae performing as expected - so setup was correct.

Image 2:

Shows the render which is not working based on the setup (image 1). Text is revealing on the bottom before the line got to that point. Top of text not matching with line doing the reveal.

Image 3:

Shows the Ae interface with the text centered vertically - setup is correct.

Image 4:

Shows the finished render and the text isn't centered vertically in the render.

Just wanted to explain what I was posting better. None of that matters since the cold restart solved the issue.

For the Adobe team, I downloaded the newest beta version since I was getting these same results with Ae 24. I did NOT do a restart after the beta (24.1) install. I can only assume the restart solved this in the live Ae 24.0 version as well. Too busy to take the time to test it.

Thank you.
