AE bug or Illustrator bug

I have been trying to figure out what happened that caused the vector art to cut off after it was imported into After Effects. I tired changing the composition size but it still does not do it for me, the art where it was cut off is still cut off in the bigger comp. ANNOYING!

This isn't a bug; your artboard in Illustrator needs to fully encompass your art, and I'm guessing that your layers currently extend outside of your artboard. If you use the Artboard tool to manually resize (Shift+O), then save your AI file, going back to AE should reveal all your art, while also possibly shifting the layers in your comp.
