AE CC 2018 not syncing keyboard shortcuts between computers

I have no idea what's I'm doing wrong. But in After Effects CC 2018, when I upload my sync settings from one mac and download them to another, nothing changes.

I need to sync my custom AE keyboard shortcuts from one mac to another. But syncing does nothing. If Adobe After Effects can't sync between computers,  can I copy the custom keyboard shortcuts text file manually? If so, does anyone know the file path, where it's located? Thanks very much in advance.

I really don't want to have to manually redo all my keyboard shortcuts on my second computer, when I should be able to sync my AE settings in a second by uploading and downloading.

The keyboard shortcuts on Windows is saved in a folder named "aeks". The following instructions assume an identical file/folder structure for AE on the Mac in as far as the "aeks" folder is concerned.

The 'aeks" folder is in the same folder hierarchy as the other Prefs files. In AE, in the Preferences Window, click on Reveal Prefs in Finder. This will open up the main prefs folder - looks for the "aeks" folder. Your saved and default shortcut keys are there.

Did you ever get this sorted.  I have the same problem.  Nothing syncs always get

"Authentication failed.  Check Network connection, Adobe ID, and password.  Please try again."

I'm logged in with my Adobe ID, connected to my network and the interent.  Adobe have been little or no help with answers
