This morning my AE reported error code 205. I also saw that Cloud was reporting updates. So I updated 4 apps, including AE. But AE still has this same error code 205 and will not start.
I am on a Mac with Monterrey and the updated AE is version 23.2.1.
How can this be fixed immediately?

Did you try the steps mentioned in the article? If that didn't help, try doing a clean installation using the Adobe cleaner tool.
