AE freezes when trying to load a project at approx 30%, sometimes it will work to import it into a new project, however if you save, you can't re-open it. Win 10 / AE 22.6

I have hdd space, cleared cache, updated CC, enabled/disabled various video settings... nada.

It works fine however, on a Win 10 desktop which has all the bells and whistles, Win 10 AE 22.6 also.

Single drive on laptop, so C:\

It only happens with one project.

I have lots of plugins but they are all good.

I seem to have fixed it via the Memory & Performance tab in settings, by enabling Reduced cache size and disabling multi-frame rendering.

Hi yash-lucid,

Sorry for your issue.

Where do you save your project - in external, network, or local storage? Does it happen with new projects as well? Do use third-party plug-ins?

Let us know, we're here to help.

Thanks,

Nishu
