Hello
Am I doing something wrong or...?
Project in ACES colour space, source LogC3. Looks nice in After Effects.
Open the layer in Mocha and the whites are clipped so I cannot get decent details for tracking. How to get a working colour conversion in Mocha.
This started to bug me so much that I decided to post here.
Left AE screen capture with colour settings. On the right side is the same layer in Mocha AE. All log information is lost.
Help, please.

If you go to the Classic workspace, there is a little sun near the end of the Selected Layer toolbar and two value boxes. You can adjust the color values in Mocha using those controls. I recently did it to put some detail in a blown-out window so I could get a good track. Make sure that the color correction is turned off. If that does not help, turn it on (the sun turns blue) and adjust the gain and gamma values.

Yes, in this kind of case, I have to work in Mocha turning AE colour management off. Otherwise Mocha clips the over-bright and turning the brightness down does not bring anything back.
Remembering to turn off colour management is a cumbersome way to work. I was hoping that the colour settings in Mocha would preserve the original values. I was wondering why Mocha has colour management with OCIO configuration then? sometimes Mocha image looks low-bit with a lot of posterisation when working with 32-bit and log.

Did you ever figure this one out? I'm having the same issue. Working in ACEScg, everything looks as it should in AE but I can't get anything to look anywhere near correct in Mocha AE. I've tried all manner of color spaces and output transforms.
