After Effect New Project shows a frame from another project instead of a black screen

Hey, so recently i've been having a problem where whenever I create a new project a frame from a different project shows in the background. by default there is supposed to be a black background for "new composition" but for some reason it does not show a black screen but instead shows a frame from another video. Is there a fix for this?

Did you try using the Edit/Purge/All Memory and Disk Cache menu?
