After Effect template issue

Hi

I have issue with AE timeline template, so the template has one date at a time to show like this

I need to add to more dates to it, and then is where the issues beggins - so when I copy the text modul it's just keeps pushing the same date in every of them - like this

it hapenns even when I'm creating the text with animation on my own and put it in pre-compose segment.

Anyone have any idea how to fixed that? Really aprreaciate...

You need to reveal the nested comp that contains the Date text layer in the Project Panel, duplicate the comp there so that you have a unique copy, then remove the duplicates you have in the Main comp and replace them with the other copies you created in the project panel. 

Depending on how the master comp has been setup, you may also have to rework the position animation for the extra copy you created in the Project panel.

Just to expand on what Rick's said, I could imagine this template using Essential Graphics to allow you to set the years.  If you expand all the properties on the timeline, do you see something like this:

This allows you to use the same comp multiple times rather than having to duplicate it.

Can you link to the page where you downloaded the template from? There might be something guidance there.
