After Effect will not work

Hi guys

My AE doesn't open. When I installed the new version (18.0) it simply didn't boot.

I've also tried to reinstall the old version (17.7) and this version doesn't open aswell now.

I've also updated my GPU, Windows, and everything that is updateable

So I basiclly cannot use the program now.

What can I do?

Sorry to hear that you're unable to open After Effects 18.0 and 17.7.

• What happens exactly when you try to launch After Effects?
• Do you see the splash screen?
• Does After Effects freeze or crash?
• Which GPU is installed on your machine? Can you provide detailed system specs?

Hi Rameez

I see the splash screen, and then i freezes on "obtaining requierd components" 
after many minutes of waiting, the splash screen crashes...

GPU is a 1080ti Strix, Intel i7-8700k and "64gb of dddr4 2133Mhz ram"
