After Effects 2021 (18.0.1) not responding upon launch

Hi,

When I recently tried to open After Effects the launch screen comes up and cycles through the various components it's loading for about 3 seconds then freezes. The task manager says that it's not responding. I've tried reinstalling it, installing AE 17.7 (with the same freeze upon launch result), disabled the GPU device, deleted the preference. Nothing has worked! I've recently installed Cisco, AutoCAD, and Revit.

It worked about a month ago. Any suggestions?

My system info:

Eluktronics mech-15 (January 2021 version)
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10875H CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz
Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.8 GB usable)
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super with Max-Q design

Sorry to hear that you're unable to launch the app. Can you share a screenshot or name of the component where it freezes?
