That's not ideal.

Do you see any error messages or crash reports? What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? You can try running After Effects in Safe Mode and see if that brings any change.

I have done that and it didn't work, here is a list of things I have done
that didn't work. uninstall and reinstall After Effects. Run After Effects
in safe mode. Log out and log back in.

Could you share your system specs as well? Also, do you get any error messages or crash reports? If so, provide your email id to the crash reporter and submit it. Once done, share your email id via DM so that we can find the crash report in our system and investigate it.
