After effects bug, After effects glitching

i was adding a plugin and then my after effects wasnt loading so i looked on youtube for help and i had to find my pid number and then go to terminal which i did and instead of my file saving after effects just force quit is there any way i can get the file back.

Sorry that happened to you. Did you save the project and now you're not able to open the project file? Is there an error? Or you didn't save the project file? If that's the case, unfortunately, the data can not be recovered.
