Hi

This issue is really frustating and only happens with After effects.

I can be working on even a simple comp and if I click my 2nd monitor it will cause a GPU "out of memory" error and I'll have to reboot.

I've been using photoshop, Blender, Illustrator recently and nothing else gets close to causing the same error.

My system is:

Windows 10, I7-6700 CPU, 32GB ram, several SSDs (dedicated 500GB SSD for AE cache), Nvidia  RTX 2060 (6GB ram, latest drivers)

AE version 22.5

Any ideas?

Thank you 🙂

The unsatisfying answer is to keep fiddling with driver and hardware acceleration settings until it may work even if you have to turn off acceleration entirely. I also believe there is a bug with this in current releases, so for the tiem being you may have to accept that it cannot be resolved.
