After Effects color picker eye dropper tool not working

Not sure why, but when I select a color for a shape and use the built-in eye-dropper tool to choose an RGB color saved in my Library, it selects a color that's visually similar but not exactly the same. The HEX codes on the Library color and the color selected by the eye-dropper tool are different.

I don't run into this issue on other Adobe Apps. I tested Photoshop and XD. Seems buggy.

I'm running AE v22.4.0 (build 56) on Dell XPS with Windows 11.

the color in your library are based on 16 or 23 bit and your project settings are 8-bit, so to get the same value you should work on a 16 or 32-bit project, got to file/project settings then go to the color tab and change the depth to 16 or 32 but I prefer 16 s on 32 some plugin may not work
