After Effects Crash whenever I save any project files, stuck on "generate recovery project" bar

Hi l'm on the latest version of after effects, this has been occuring since yesterday. Whenever open a project file that was not created today & attempt to save it, it pops up with "generate recovery project" bar. Same issue happened yesterday & I've tried using an older version of after effects & it's still happening.

Sorry to hear about the issue.

Are you using Cinema 4D renderer in the projects? Where your project files are saved? Are they saved on a shared drive or in a folder that's synced (like Google Drive, Dropbox, etc)?

 I don't use cinema 4d in my projects at all. This issue is occurring to projects saved on my OneDrive & ones saved locally too.

Soon as I open these previous project files and try to preview, it freezes and pops up with "generate recovery project" bar

I've cleared my cache, installed previous versions of after effects and the issue still occurs. I'm currently using the latest macos 14.

I more or less have the same problem. When I open a project, the ‘Generate recovery project’ window opens and does not advance.
