After Effects crashing when moving to another Adobe Application

New Here ,

I am using Adobe AE 2024 since last few months and I am getting issues when I switch to another adobe application. My PC freezes and it takes approx. 2-3 minuts to move the cursor, but AE shuts down automatically after a few seconds. It does not let me do anything in between, I cannot switch to another application excapt moving the cursor. I am not using any heavy effect that might affect the software.

I recently switched from AE-25 because it has same issues but at extreme level.

Would you check the consumption of the physical memory when you switch it to another Adobe product? You see the task manager.

LATEST

Hi Ashish,

Sorry to hear about the issue. Are there any error messages? Often, such issues are caused by outdated drivers. Please ensure that OS updates are installed and install the latest version of the Nvidia Studio driver for the Nvidia website.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Nishu
