in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi Facundo_Suarez9205,

What version of After Effects are you using? Are you able to open Cinema 4D app? Are you on MacOS or Windows?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Nishu

Thank you for all the details! Let's try uninstalling Cinema 4D, then re-installing it. This YouTube video is in English, but you can use the visuals to follow along. https://adobe.ly/4kZCK2z

I will copy the steps here so you can translate them, if this is easier!

1. Open your File Explorer

2. Go to C:\Program Files\Maxon Cinema 4D R25

3. Double-click "uninstall.exe" inside the Maxon folder

You have successfully uninstalled Cinema 4D! Now let's re-install it.

1. Open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

2. On the left, go to the section called "Apps"

3. Select the "..." next to After Effects.

4. Select "Get add-ons"

5. Add "Cinema 4D by Maxon."

Open After Effects and attempt the same process. Let us know if the error message still appears.

We hope this helps!

Caroline
