After effects seems to forget keyboard shortcut (cmd+m). For example I'm animating some graphic elements and everything is working well, but when I try to export the final animation, I'm pressing cmd+m (the shortcut I made, somehow this new after effects doesn't have it by default) it doesn't work, but when I just open the menu for keyboard shortcuts and close it, without changing or adding anything, it works. It's like I have to remind it by just opening the menu...Weird
Go to After Effects Preference > General > disable "Use System Shortcuts Keys".
Let us know if that helps.

That's not ideal. What's the version of After Effects you're using? Did you define the shortcut in the current version that you're using or did you import a keyboard shortcut file from a previous version or some other machine? Also, what does the shortcut do? I'll try to replicate it on my end.
Let us know.

Hi, thanks for the reply! I'm using the latest version of after effects 25.1. I wanted to set up "add to render queue" shortcut that would be the same as in adobe premiere. It works, but for some reason I have to remind it every time I start after effects. It's a fresh start with a new macbook, so no old plugins, shortcuts, etc.
