after effects freezes while moving an object

Multiple times when i am trying to edit an object on after effects, or even zoom into the screen, after effects just stops working.  Anyone facing similar issues? i am using Asus Tuf f16

I recommend you update the graphic card driver to the lastest version.

Could you let us know your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? What version of After Effects are you using? Are there any third-party plug-ins installed? Try running After Effects in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled.
