So here is what happens.
I'm working on something in After Effects, Tab out or open another Browser Window and my PC crashes. Also happens when i want to open Media Encoder so i can basically not open anything else inside Windows else the following happens:
First my PC freezes. Then my Screen goes black and says No Signal and have to restart my PC to fix this. This has been an issue for years and to this date have not found a fix.
Things i tried:
-Got a new CPU
-Got new RAM + Did Ram checks
-Reinstalled Windows
-Disabled Hardware Accelerate
-Disabled Windows animations/Changed to Performance Mode
-GPU Drivers always Up2Date
-Tried different versions of After Effects
-Tried with a clean After Effects without any Plugins
-Updated Bios

I don't know what you are saying, but if you are asking for my Hardware:
Motherboard: MS-7B84
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
GPU: Nvidia 1660 Super
Ram: 16 GB
Cables work fine, After Effects is the only program that is causing problems.
After Effect Version: Tried multiple, currently on the latest

Hi Dennis255255717420,
Thanks for sharing the details. Please try switching to Mercury Software Only in File > Project Settings > under Video Rendering and Effects tab.
Let us know if that brings any change.
Thanks,
Nishu

I went back to After Effects 2021 and it seem to work without a single crash. So seems to be After Effects 2022 related.
