After Effects lagging and struggling to render changes

Lately my After Effects 25.2 has been lagging a lot and doesn't render project changes, like the project playing doesnt render. It has also been crashing a lot. I can't use it. 

I've cleared disk chache, got more RAM (currently 64 GB), editing on quarter quality and changing settings etc. Nothing works.

Performance in After Effects depends a lot on the footage and effects used in the project. Do you mind sharing more details:

1. Is it happening in all the projects or a particular one?

2. Which effects and plug-ins are you using in the project?

3. What are the details of the media (frame rate, frame size, format/codec)?

1. Happening in all projects.

2. Let's take one project for example. Using: AE Pixel Sorter, Deep Golw, Change Color

3. Frame rate: 60 fps. Frame size: 1080 x 1920. Format: H.264

Thanks for getting back. We need to understand if it is happening with a specific project or with multiple projects. Then, we'll be able to determine whether this is a project-specific issue or not and direct the troubleshooting in the correct direction. Also, please test if disabling the third-party plug-ins helps. Go to Effects > Manage Effects to disable plug-ins.

It's happening with all projects. Disabling the third-party plug-ins didn't help.

Can you share your system specifications (CPU, GPU, OS version)? Are you on a multi-monitor setup? If so, what's the resolution of your monitors? Check if removing the secondary monitor helps.

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070

OS version: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (OS Build 26100.3775)

I'm not on a multi-monitor setup. But my monitor resolution is 2560 x 1440
