After effects not re-loading footage correctely

I am editing a video using very heavy footage do i created a low rew duplicate of the footage.

I ended editing the video and went to the project window do do "reload footage" and chose the high quality footage (it has transparent background and is bigger in size). It uploaded the video but with background and in the same size (i usualy have to scale it to the size of the low res file). I have no idea how to fix this, maybe it is a reloading bug, maybe there is some settings i can change?
