After Effects Plugin Loading Cache

In PP there is an option (hold shift key while loading) to reset the plugins loading cache. Is there a similar thing for AE? I have some plugins not loading with this message:

The registry tells us to cache so the plugin will be loaded from the cache.

The plugin is marked as Ignore, so it will not be loaded.

Hi spiegelball

Thanks for writing in.

Safe mode was introduced in the current version of After Effects 22.4. In Safe Mode, you can launch After Effects with default preferences and you get an option to disable the third-party plug-ins.

We're here to help.

Thanks,

Nishu

So will this reset the cache for ignored plugins to so that they load again?

The problem is that sometimes a (previous faulty) plugin will not load after if was fixed because it is still marked as "ignore".

No, it doesn't reset the cache. However, you can disable the plug-ins (Effect > Manage Effects).

Thanks,

Ok, but how can I enable a plugin then if it was set to "Ignore" for some reason?

Do you mind sharing a screenshot where it shows the plug-ins marked as "Ignore"?

This appeares in the Plugin_Loading.log of one of our users:

Loading C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\NeuralWarp\NeuralWarpWrapper.aex

The registry tells us to cache so the plugin will be loaded from the cache.

The plugin is marked as Ignore, so it will not be loaded.

@nishu_kushWhat can we do about it?
