After Effects Pre-render Not Working

My project crashed and asked me to resave it, so i resaved it under the same name replacing the old file. When i opened the project the preview was frozen and my project was not pre-rendering. I purged all memory but now the preview has completely stopped working and still wont pre-render.

Could you share your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? Are there any third-party plug-ins installed? Try running After Effects in Safe Mode.
