So, using After Effects on my PC (R7 2700X, GTX 1070 ti, 32GB 2133MHz RAM) is painful. I have to use quarter quality or else it will within 3 seconds spew out the "unable to allocate memory" thing. But on my laptop (8850H, P2000 Mobile, 32GB also but probably slightly faster RAM, still DDR4), it runs full quality and never has any out of memory issues. What could be causing this?

That's not ideal.
Do you get any error messages? Are there any crash reports? If so, provide your email ID to the crash reporter and submit it. We'll try to find the crash report at our end and get it translated.
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Nishu
