Greetings!
After troubleshooting my AE for multiple hours now, I've given up on trying to solve it on my own.
It did work in the past and suddenly it stopped working.
Problem:
I can open AE (any project) and everything works fine, as long as I dont change any parameters. I can watch the preview of the video with no constraints. As soon as I change an angle of the camera, or even the size of a specific word, I can no longer watch the preview. It stays frozen and I cant see any changes. Furthermore, the timeline and the indicator (the thing that moves from left to right when playing a video) doesnt move at all anymore and music cant be heard aswell. After changing one parameter, I can only access the menu bar (data, edit, and so on).
After restarting the preview works fine again, until I change something. This behaviour is for every project.

Thanks for your quick answer. I checked the specific versions of every programm and checked the box to log files.
This time however, it worked like nothing happened... so I waited a day and tried again today. Again, nothing was wrong.
So i guess the problem vanished :,)
If I have the problem again, I know what to do :D.

Since the behavior you've described is happening across all projects, it seems like there must be something occurring at the system level. Would you mind sharing the versions of After Effects, your GPU drivers, and Windows itself? You mentioned having the latest as of May 27, but this is, unfortunately, an imprecise way of measuring due to how updates can be dependent on systems specs,

Additionally, a log file from After Effects would be helpful in trying to diagnose the issue. Please follow these steps to collect a log file:
The forums do not allow .txt files as attachments, so please send a link (via WeTransfer, Dropbox, etc) in a direct message, as the log file contains paths and filenames that should be kept private.
