I am having an issue with both After Effects CC 2017 and Premiere Pro CC 2017. Whenever I open anything in the program that is visual, my view is completely blank. Then I try to resize my window and I get lines/freezing/a buggy viewer window like what is pictured below. I have to play with resizing the viewer window until my picture/video shows up at a random size, and I can't move it again or I'll have to do the whole process over again. I'm unable to have the previewer resize along with my cursor, which is really makes it difficult to have a comfortable work space. I highly doubt it is my computer, as I'm only having this issue on a brand new laptop, with specs also posted below.
I'm running the latest version of After Effects, just updated in CC this morning.
Laptop Specs:
Windows 10 Home
GeForce GTX 1060
Driver Version 385.41
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz
16 GB RAM
1920x1080 60Hz
OS Build: 15063.540
System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64 based processor

Update your graphics driver and configure it suitably to be compatible with Adobe apps. It clearly isn't in its current state.

I too would very much like to know if someone found a solution. I came across this problem with a student. Windows Nvidia gtx 1050 laptop with latest version of after effects. Fresh install today. We have removed all the preferences and reinstalled it. My second guess was it was a graphics driver issue, but the latest Nvidia driver was already installed too.
Mylenium could you elaborate on the 'suitable configuration'? Because it clearly isn't in its current state. Thanks!
