After effects weird slow motion play backback glitch

I've added a few effects on a 1min 1080p footage and after effects is not playing back properly I've tried so many things from Yt, updated drivers, cleared cache, decreased playback resolution... nothing worked and other comps are playing not as smoothly as it is before this bug.
Did anyone know a fix for this? It is quite annoying as I'm abo_ut to lose 6 hours of work.

One minute is a long time for a Ram preview unless you reduce the comp resolution or skip frames. After Effects is not a video editing app, it is designed to do shots, not make movies. Preview time depends on frame size, frame resolution (comp magnification factor with comp resolution set to auto), and the frame rate. 

If we had comp and system details we could give you some realistic Ram-preview expactations.

You shouldn't lose any work, but it might just be the combined RAM use of AE, any plugins, your OS etc... means that you can't preview it all together.  

If you're worried about timings, can you solo effects / layers and see if that solves it?
