after effects will not open

I just downloaded after effects in the creative cloud and when I go to open it nothing happens. I have tried uninstalling and reininstalling, restarting my computer with none of it working. It does not even show up as a process in the task manager working. Not sure what do to to try and be able to fix it.

You may want to consider using the cleaner tool.

Welcome to the community and sorry for your issue.

As the expert suggested, we'd need to know the system specifications in order to troubleshoot the issue properly.

You can try running it as an administrator (right-click its icon and select Run as administrator).
