Hello all — I've tried installing/uninstalling new/old versions of AE into my desktop, and now it's gotten to the point it will not open anymore. I have cleaned out the caches, updated my OS. Can't seem to know if Adobe Cleaner took care of the problem. So, yes. I'm stuck in a rut.

What changed? This can happen with an OS update, an AE update, an anti-virus update, a permissions change? Without system details and some kind of timeline for the failure, the problem could have been caused by anything from hardware failure to a 3rd party app update.
