Hello everyone,

I have a serious problem with PremierePro and AfterEffects.

I started a PremierePro Project, cutted videos and sound. I saved it as an .prproj file.

Then I opened AfterEffect and imported the whole Premiere project.

Normally, you get all the files and you get a timeline (like in premiere), where all the cutted sequences are in.

In my case, I only have the original files, and not a single cutted video.

So I cant key the cutted sequences because I only have the full length videos in AfterEffects.

Can someone help me?

Thanks a lot

Hi Krischtl2980,

If you import a Premiere Pro project in After Effects (File > Import > Adobe Premiere Pro Project), you will get the original media along with the Premiere Pro sequence as an After Effects composition.

Check this link for more info: Importing from After Effects and Premiere Pro

Thanks,

Did you select IMPORT > PREMIERE PROJECT in AE? If you import the normal way it will just bring one dynamic link clip for your whole Premiere timeline, but if you import using the Premiere option it will break out the timeline.

Is there another fix to this?

I'm only getting a .prproj link file. Not an AE comp with all my edits.
