AE 2022 keeps crashing as soon as you select the C4D renderer. (see attached video)
I have the full Maxon One license, and updated all to the latest versions.
Also tried a reset of prefs on AE: no luck. Reinstall: no luck.
What is going on here? Adobe? Anyone? Crickets!
Hi VFXbear,
Sorry for the crash.
I've seen this crash before. Are you using "xpexplosiafx" or any other third-party plug-ins? If so, remove the plug-ins and see if that fixes the issue.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Nishu

What year is your computer? You may want to check hardware specs against Maxon specs.

After spending over an hour with an Adobe support agent, we figured out that the error came indeed from C4D.
SO ... before going the strenous route of reinstalling C4D, I decided to remove all plugins first, and HEY PRESTO : this time it worked!
So by putting back 1 plugin at a time in C4D, and opening AE, I finally discovered that it was indeed the Insydium Fused (X-Particles) installation that kept giving missing certification errors, and therefor crashing AE.
Hopefully Insydium's latest build will have solved this problem!
