Do you want to align the timing of the videos and put them side by side or put one over the other? Please share some screenshots or references to help us understand better.
We're here to help.

Hi Martin,
Thanks for the message and welcome to the forum. Please answer Nishu's questions. Thanks, Nishu!
To align positon, I like to stack the clips up on V1 an V2. I change the Blending Mode on the clip on V2 to Difference. Reposition the clip by nudging it until the clip disappears or gets very close to disappearing. Then your clips should be aligned. After, switch the mode back to Normal. Does this technique work for you? Let me know. Sorry for the hassle.
Thanks,
Kevin

We might need to learn a little more about your set up. In my head, I'm picturing some sort of vlog where you have two actors side by side built you have to film them separately. There is no automatic alignment I can think of, but once you've lined up two videos, you should be able to either duplicate the comp or the video layers and then with one selected, hold ALT and drag a replacement video from the project panel onto it. This will replace the video and keep all the scaling and positioning you've done.
