All After Effects versions crash after installing AE 2023 on MAC

Hello

I’ve been using 3 versions of After Effects - 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Yesterday I decided to update 2022 to 2023. It was successfully installed from creative cloud but on launch I was told that it is not compatible with my current OS.
So I have installed 2022 back.
After that non of my After effects version are launching. I get the same crash report every time.
I’ve uninstalled 2022 and 2021 and tried to reinstall 2022 many times. Unfortunately I don’t see an option in CC of installing older versions anymore.

I was not planning to update my system as I use some old plug-ins that run only on older versions.
What has happened and hot to solve this issue? It completely paralysed my work.

Welcome to the community and sorry for the issue.

Any version older than 22.0 won't be available to download anymore. Only the latest and one major version behind the latest version are available. Please share the full crash report so we can find the root cause.

Hello! As I had to go on with my project I've updated the MacOSX to Ventura 13.3.1 (22E261).

After Effects started working again but I keep getting the same issue all the time when it is runnung. The AE freezes and 1 minute later my laptop shuts down and reboots. It hapens only when I run After Effcts (22 or 23, tried both). That's really annoying, as I have to save on every step. And it can happen after an hour of work or literally 10 seconds after I start new project.

Do you get any crash reports? Are there any third-party plug-ins installed? Also, does it happen with all the projects or a particular one?

That is the crash report from Mac. I don't get any crash reports from Adobe. 

Happens in any project, in both AE versions (2022 and 2023). No third party plugins at the moment.

If you haven't done so already, please try resetting the application preferences. If that doesn't resolve the issue, consider changing the video renderer to Software Only by going to File > Project Settings.
