Apple Prores 422 HQ with alpha

Hi I'm trying to render out Apple Prores 422 HQ codec with alpha channel, but the RGB/Alpha is greyed out. Do I need to change someting in the preferneces?

Only ProRez 444 supports alpha channels.

Yes, but not that much bigger because you are adding another channel and changing the color sampling. There are other options like GoPro Cineform (excellent) that support Alpha and up to 10-bit color.

i didn't understood why i didn' have alpha avaible With ApR422 in After-Effects

 

so now i will do some vidéo in ApR444

 

i think The ApR444HQ is a Good solution

 

i've tried 'b etter 444 '

But the size of files is important

-

i most work in Video Clip Format ( 3' - 4' )

and in 4K / 60 iPs - it makes very large files

 

if you work 4 hours and make 8 tries

 

you kill your hard disk's free space  ;o)
