why is my aspect ratio not showing 9:16

Aspect ratio is horizontal:veertical..

You have created a vertical composition that is 1080 wide and 1920 high. Change the comp to standard HD 1920 X 1080 and the Aspect Ratio will be 16:9

What version of AE are you using? A social media vertical preset in AE.23 displays the frame ratio correctly. The calculations in your screenshot for frame ratio are only off by .01%, so it's probably a glitch in the AE version you are using. Pixel dimensions are what matters. If your comp is square pixels, it will render with the 9:16 aspect ratio you want.

As shown in the screenshot. Your Composition resolution is 1080*1980. Change it to 1080*1920.
