Hello. Is there any way to auto trace simple geometry figure so that the mask merely follows this moving object and is not being re-rendered differently with every frame? There changes are very small but destroy the full image after rendering something on the mask, for example extrude objects that are thought to be solid not liquid and tweaking.

The only thing you can do is to remove some of the generated keyframes inside the masks and change the keyframe interpolation to have some kind of progression.

I believe there should be a reason why autotrace effect renders mask on the same elementary geometric figure differently everytime although the figure remains the same.
You can see that this guy somehow manages to extrude the perfectly on static figures

Of course, if you look at the AutoTrace panel, you can select what channel is using AE to create the masks. A little change in luminance in those channels can modifiy the shape of the masks. You have some controls about smoothing and thresold to avoid creating keyframes in all of this changes but this tools has some limitations.
