Hi, when I import a clip from Mac programs to After Effects the colors change dramatically, cf. image. It seems there's something in the settings which alters the appearance in an unwanted manner. How can I turn this off? Thanks! IMG_1610.jpg

I suggest you start by reading the online help on essentials like footage interpretation, color management, project setings and so on. It's critical to understand at least some of these basics, even if oftentimes color bias cannot be avoided entirely due to how some formats work. In your case just setting the source profile and Gamma in the footage interpretation very likely will work wonders...

Thank you, Mylenium! Indeed, that worked like a charm. I've set the footage profile to Rec.709 HLG Scene W100, the footage is still a bit dark now, but that's a minor detail. Maybe I'll find an additional setting to correct that too.
Thanks again!
