Hi Everyone,
is there a way to stop AE from the automatic prerender of every comp you
are currently working on?
My system getting "warm" everytime....

Check the multiframe/ speculative rendering options in the preferences. I suggest you actually read the help.

After your tip i found it under "Composition" -> "Preview" - there i can switch it on/off.
