Black Glitching on Render; Project View Works

New Here ,
May 12, 2025 May 12, 2025

Hey gang—I am having an issue on my renders (see attached image). I know this has to do with the technique I'm using, but this is a new issue and I suspect some sort of setting got messed up during an update.

I'm taking jpg sequences, and the shots are kind of related, also kind of not; I change the frame blending to pixel motion, enable time remapping and stretch the length to about 1000%. The effect is quite dreamy and strange, which I like, and it works perfectly in the comp viewer, but when I render it out, I get the attached image.

I've tried using Animation and all the ProRes varients.

Stretching the length by 1000% seems a lot. I wonder if that's causing the issue. Can you try lowering it down or changing the frame blending method? If that doesn't help, try exporting using Media Encoder.

Let me know the outcome.

Thanks,
Nishu
