Bounce effect is not working

I have applied  'bounce effect'  to scale property following the rules. The first keyframe of scale was 0 and the second one was 100. but the scale gets bigger after second keyframe, increases its size.

Why is this happening? please help.

This is to be expercted and intentional. It's one of the 10 base principles of animation - exaggeration. If you want it to be less obtrusive, chenge the amplitude value in the expression to something smaller than the default 1. in your case 0.3 or something like that might look good.
