Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if there were a way to make presets for the 3D camera in After Effects that adapt to the layers current position. For example, I planned on making presets for different camera movements I often make in AE for my video essays. However, when saving the keyframes as animation presets, I realized that when applying the preset to another layer, the preset saves the position value of the key frames from the original layer. But I don't want to the exact positioning to be maintainined, I just want themovement of the 3D camera itself to be saved, i.e. there is a universal preset to move the camera to the right 1000 pixels without repositioning it to the same starting point every time. I'm wondering if there is a way to separate the movement the animation is conducting from having to take place at the exact position every time. Thank you all in advance!
