Camera tracker from precomp also affecting layers in main comp?

This is so ...why is after-effects so difficult?

So here's my issue, I have a 3d camera tracker looking at another precomp animation(a). I then precomposed the 3d camera along the pre-comp (a) into another pre-comp (camera track 1). When I import pre-comp (camera track 1) into my main comp (fresh start), all other layers/assets that I create are still tracking the 3d camera from the first pre-comp. Wth is going on? tried searching everything and everywhere. Please help out !!

You have the Collapse Transformations switch enabled on your pre-comps (the starburst icon to the right of your comp names). This is going to treat your comp as if the individual layers are accessible, even though they're pre-comped. Disable this switch and your pre-comp will act like a flat layer.
