Can AE make slideshow???

I've given Adobe thousands of dollars, and now I want to make a slideshow.  I import the 200 jpgs and then chosse to  layer them with a 20 frame dissolve.  Apparently this is far beyond the capabilities of Adobe products as I get a hundred  "overflow converting ratio numbers" error messages.  Can I get my money back?

Do you mind sharing a screenshot of the error? Is there a specific action/command that triggers the error? Have you encountered this issue in any other project?

Restarted my computer and it was able to do a slideshow.
