I'm making lower thirds for a video. Usually, I can just import AE projects directly from PP, but this particular file keeps coming with the background. 

From what I'm reading, I need to export RGB+alpha. I did that and still got a black background. 

I then tried exporting as a template and I still got a black background. 

What am I missing?

Okay, I think I figured this out. You, apparently, have to render it with the Toggle Transparency Grid off. Is that the correct way to do this?
