Can I lock a light to a moving shape layer?

Hi everyone,

Can I lock spot lights to a moving shape layer in After Effects without having to individually animate them?
So they remain on the shape in the same position wherever I animate the layer moving to on screen?

Read the online help on basics like parenting or using simple pickwhip expressions to connect properties. The light can simply be parented in the most basic scenario.
