Heya. I'm not that good at After Effects, so go easy on me.
I have a video of me talking, and it has hundreds of jump-cuts. I do lots of visual effects like smoke and cinders, on different layers. I would like the smoke and cinders to match the jump-cuts of my master video so that it looks seamlessly part of the environment.
I have a CSV file of all the jump-cuts (which frame it occurs at and how long the jump-cut is for), and I figured I could somehow use this data to create time-remapping for the particle layers.
To be clear, the particle layers such as the smoke are all short videos, perhaps 10 seconds long, and it seamlessly loops, so I've been using loopout() to just make it repeat over and over for the duration of the master video.
I would like this to be as efficient as possible, because this composition is a template for all future videos I make.
