I am trying to make it particles look like they are shooting out from the large circle like shape at the bottom, and I am using CC Particle World due to it having the look I am going for. The particles' emitions are tied to music, and this is causing me an issue. I can set the producer to be the shape of the large particle so that the particles shoot off at the correct angles, but then the travel for those particles is very long making it not actually match with the music when the particles appear. I can set the producer to be smaller, but then the particles shoot off at the wrong angles. I wanted to ask if anyone had any advice or solutions to fix this problem. Thank you!

Honest answer: Just subscribe to the Trapcode Suite for a month or however long you need this and use Form and Particular. The audio reactors and all the other stuff offer much more control without all the headache.

I have tried Particular, but I cannot understand it whatsoever and can not get anywhere near the look of CC Particle World. Even if it is a headache, is there a way you can think of that uses CC Particle World?

Try to get it as flat as possible, wrap the resulting pre-comp around CC Cylinder and use time-remapping to correct for the delays.
