CC will not display latest After Effects 2024

Hi,

I'm trying to update to 2024, but CC will only display 23.6, and it says I'm up to date. My collegues are all on 24.0.0.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling with no change in the result.

I'm on Win. 10 22H2
NVIDIA 3080

Thanks,

Luke

Solution found.

Some collegues were running the Beta 24.0.0, which was not the latest stable build.

Solution retracted.

A collegue shared that they are indeed on 24.0.0 and NOT in beta.

Has 2024 rolled out to only some users? If so, this creates real conflicts in a shared environment and somewhat surprising on the same enterprise license.

See image below of my collegue's recent updates:

Hi Luke,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

You're correct. It's a phased rollout. You'll get the update soon.

Thanks for your patience.

Best,

Nishu

This is insane... it's been a month and half since this post and one of the designers that reports to me is running 24 while I'm on 23. So, now I can't open his files unless he saves a legacy version. How do they not allow people in a Teams account to update at the same time??? This is causing significant issues on my team as well. Not good Adobe...

Hi dderuyter,

You might need to get in touch with your admin in case of a team account.

Hope that helps.

Thanks,
Nishu

LATEST

That is a long time to wait for the current version to appear.

If this is an Enterprise account, you'll need to reach out to whomever is the administrator for the Adobe accounts.  That person controls who gets access to what via Creative Cloud Desktop - not Adobe.

If this is an individual plan, you should see the current version (even if your operating system does not support it).  If an individual plan, use the Chat bubble at the bottom right of the Adobe Customer Care page.  It is automated at first, but you should be able to get to a support agent within a few minutes.
